Coleman Named Administrator at Genesis Medical Center | Health
DEWITT, Iowa--Genesis Health System Senior Vice-President Florence Spyrow has announced that Curt Coleman has been named administrator for Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt. This will be effective immediately. Coleman has served as interim administrator for GMC DeWitt since July 1. Coleman also will continue to serve as Genesis administrator of Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa. Coleman has been at Jackson County Regional Health Center since 1999.
"Curt has shown us how such a leadership model can help reduce variability in care from one location to another and improve quality and patient safety. I thank Curt Coleman for his past service and willingness to continue in both assignments on an on-going basis", said Spyrow.
Coleman was previously vice president of professional and support services for Spencer Hospital, Spencer, Iowa. He maintained responsibility for the strategic development and oversight of nine hospital departments.
Coleman has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a Master's in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Iowa.
