Snowman, Snow Birds, and Fun at the Children’s Discovery Center | Events
CLINTON, Iowa--The Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center, in Clinton, will hold their weekly Fun Time Friday program on January 25, and their first Saturday event of the Year on January 26.This Friday, January 25 at 10 a.m.,children can enjoy some wintry literacy activities during our Snowman Fun. They will make a snowman and may even make some snow. Come participate in winter fun from the cozy warmth of the Children’s Discovery Center.Fun Time Friday at the Discovery Center is a program designed specifically for the learning and developmental needs of preschoolers and toddlers. Children attend with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver on a drop in basis without pre-registration.
On Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. Linda Boardsen will be visiting. She is a local resident and member of the Quad City Audubon Society. The Children’s Discovery Center is happy to have Linda give a presentation about winter birds. Children and grown-ups of all ages will enjoy identifying different area birds and making a bird feeder to take home and hang up in their backyards.
Both Fun Time Friday and Super Saturday are available to Discovery Center guests. Regular daily admission is free for members, $4 for ages 2 to 64, $3 for ages 65 and up, and free for ages 1 and younger.
The Children’s Discovery Center is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. For more information on hours or programming contact the Children’s Discovery Center at 563-243-3600 or email to info@adlerdiscoverycenter.org.
